Data Deletion

Data deletion and Clover uninstall.

Removing AurumMise in Clover starts automatic deletion of the active merchant workspace. Merchants can also request deletion while the app is installed.

Automatic deletion after uninstall

When Clover confirms that AurumMise was uninstalled, we remove the business's active AurumMise workspace and schedule permanent deletion of its stored files. This includes encrypted Clover connection details and saved business information, saved conversations and preferences, approval and request history, analysis caches, attachments and saved attachment details, custom backgrounds, connection notices, and saved change history tied to that business.

Stored attachment and background objects are removed together with their noncurrent object versions and delete markers. A reinstall creates a fresh workspace; it does not restore the deleted chats, files, snapshots, or tokens. Ask for an export before uninstalling if you need a copy of information in the workspace.

We retain a minimal one-way event fingerprint and uninstall time to reject duplicate Clover deliveries. That replay-protection receipt does not contain the merchant ID, Clover tokens, chats, files, snapshots, or business records.

Separately, we retain a restricted pseudonymous billing ledger for 24 months. It contains a one-way merchant fingerprint, installation and UTC billing-period dates, included allowance, successful-request counts and ordinals, policy and Clover billing-ID snapshots, metered delivery states, and Clover receipt identifiers. This ledger keeps same-month usage from resetting after reinstall and supports charge reconciliation and disputes. It does not contain the raw merchant ID, merchant name, prompts, answers, OAuth tokens, Clover snapshots, chats, or files.

How billing usage survives deletion

A successful assistant request is one merchant-initiated run that commits a usable visible response, including a valid response that needs approval. Behind-the-scenes work, attachment review, applying an approved change, and using a supported Undo do not count separately. Failed, cancelled, superseded, and duplicate requests do not count.

The full-month successful-request allowance for the active Essentials policy is shown in Clover and in AurumMise usage settings. Usage resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month, and a first or restarted partial month receives a prorated allowance based on the inclusive UTC calendar days remaining. Reinstalling, reconnecting, refreshing a token, or changing an employee or device does not reset the same Clover merchant's usage for that month.

Requests beyond the included allowance are sent to Clover as metered usage and may appear on a later Clover statement. Deleting the active workspace does not delete the restricted pseudonymous billing ledger immediately: it is normally retained for 24 months for usage continuity, statement reconciliation, duplicate-charge prevention, fraud review, and billing disputes. It does not retain prompts, answers, merchant names, OAuth tokens, or Clover snapshots.

How to request deletion

Email support@aurumpay.com with the subject line AurumMise data deletion request.

  • Include your business name.
  • Include the email or phone number we should use to follow up.
  • Include your Clover merchant ID if you know it.
  • Tell us what you want deleted, such as chat history, uploaded chat files, notes saved from uploaded files, custom backgrounds, uploaded statements, saved preferences, or the Clover connection.

What we can usually delete

  • Saved chats and assistant preferences tied to your business.
  • Uploaded chat files and notes saved from uploaded files tied to your business.
  • Custom background images and saved appearance preferences.
  • Processor statements or quotes explicitly submitted for rate review.
  • Pending approval cards and pending change requests.
  • Stored Clover snapshots or business context that is no longer needed after disconnecting.

What may need to stay

Limited information may remain temporarily in restricted security logs or backups, or when retention is required by law, billing, fraud prevention, or dispute-resolution obligations. It is not kept in the active AurumMise merchant workspace. If a deletion request cannot be completed right away for one of these reasons, we will explain why.

The pseudonymous billing ledger described above is normally retained for 24 months even after uninstall or workspace deletion. Where applicable law requires earlier deletion, we will review the request while preserving only what is necessary for billing, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.

Uploaded chat files may already be removed on the AurumMise retention schedule, but saved chats, completed approval-card history, and support records may need a separate deletion review. A saved chat may still contain the file name, assistant response, and details included in the conversation after the raw file is removed.

Unsent upload drafts are scheduled for deletion after about 24 hours. Sent raw chat files and saved extracted details kept for reuse and review are scheduled for deletion after about 180 days. Deleting a file or conversation or uninstalling AurumMise removes the source sooner. Saved review history remains bounded to 180 days.

Disconnecting Clover

You can uninstall AurumMise in Clover or ask Aurumpay to help disconnect it. A verified Clover App uninstall event starts the automatic workspace deletion described above. If you only revoke or interrupt an OAuth connection without uninstalling the app, send a deletion request if you also want the saved workspace removed.

What happens next

  • We will review the request and may ask for information to confirm the business.
  • We will tell you what was deleted and what, if anything, must be retained.
  • If you ask us to stop using an explicitly submitted statement or quote, we will review and fulfill that request subject to legal, security, support, or dispute-resolution requirements.
